Special Events are programs involving non-food (hardline) items. The vendor commits to running several consecutive days according to Costco's direction. The Special Event will run the entire time the warehouse is open.
COMMUNICATION
The more lead time PWD receives the more likely the proper event personnel are available.
All communication between PWD and the vendor regarding the Special Event must be finalized a week prior to the start of the event. PWD will provide the vendor with a template of a manual to be completed and sent back a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the start of the show. The manual will serve as the main training tool for the show. Should the vendor wish to conduct additional training such as organized briefing sessions, conference calls they must take place a minimum of one week before the start.
PWD will provide the vendor with a Special Event Launch Form that will ask the vendor for all relevant information to execute the Special Event. The Launch Form must be completed and sent back to PWD a minimum of 2 weeks before the start of the show along with the completed manual that contains Product Information & FAQ’s on the products being represented.
